Dark mode with Substratum Themes

I use synergy and lite substratum. All goes well however when everything installs I go to change the phone to dark mode and is grayed out. I have tried numerous things but any ideas?

There are dark themes for Substratum available on F-Droid.

I have not tried theme because I don't have Substratum, but I have seen them

there.

You have to turn dark mode on via Synergy. Only when I do that it overwrites the theme I just installed with that of dark mode.

yep its either one or the other, i'm afraid. unless synergy comes out with its own dark theme

I'm sticking with stock Dark Mode until Synergy/Substratum Lite improves as every dark theme I have tried from there leaves me with a zebra crossing blac/white notification dropdown.

It will get there.

Now I just need to find a worthy launcher equivalent to Next Launcher. Nova is great but doesn't allow individual Icon changes. New topic time,
