Dark Sky was long available in iOS as a $3.99 one-time purchase, but the company is experimenting with a subscription-based model by asking you to pay $2.99 for the hyperlocal forecasts.
You can also stick to the free option, which provides up to 24-hour and 7-day forecasts.
