Accessories dark stripe on my screen

I have noticed a dark stripe/streak on my screen just to the right of the center. I have an invisible shield screen protector installed would that cause this dark stripe or is it a screen problem?

Was it there before you applied the invisible shield?

I only had the phone for 1 day before I had the invisible shield put on it.

The dark spot is noticeable when the screen is off if you look at a reflection of light. That makes me think its the invisible shield.

I have read some reports of water getting under the screen when applying these kind of protectors. I am not sure if this is the case with your application but if it wasn't there before the invisible shield, this would most likely be the case.

If water did get under the screen, you should wait a few days to let it dry out. If this doesn't work, try exchanging it...

I have noticed the black spots/stripes as well. It is the invisible Shield by ZAGG. I have replaced my shield on my galaxy S2 already and I have only had the phone for 2 months. My Xoom also has a stripe, but i have had it for 8 months, and haven't replaced it yet.
I don't know what causes the stripe, but ZAGG is useless to try and talk to. It is something to do with the device. The black spot appeared in the same spot both times.
I think i am going to try something other than Invisible shield.
