Darnit... defective Galaxy Tab 10.1

I just got the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tonight and darn it - the lower right corner of the screen is damaged. Not the screen itself, but underneath it - there is severe bleeding of light, and a bit 2 inch area is "brighter" than the rest of the screen. The outline of the area is well defined - like there was water damage under the screen. Arrgh - back to the store tomorrow.

I actually have the Xoom but wanted to give this one a try since I have 10 more days to decide if I want to return it. Who knows - maybe I'll like it enough to keep both - one each for different rooms. Hahaha!

Anyway, I really like how the apps I downloaded from the market were auto-downloaded to the Tab. Moot, though since I have to do a factory reset now before returning it.

I was really digging how light it was but decided not to play with it anymore.

That sucks. Mass production does have its downside sometimes. You'll enjoy the replacement that much more. (Just trying to help with a positive spin...)

Well, you were right - it made the replacement that much more enjoyable. :) No problems with the new one! Just glad that they weren't out of stock!
