IIRC, the GPS antenna for the Inspire is next to the 2 LED flash. The antenna for wifi is on the SIM/SD cover and the antenna for cell is on the battery cover.

No, The WiFi antenna is on the left edge, as part of the battery cover, the cell phone antenna is on the bottom on the SIM/SD cover, a rather dumb place, IMHO, but I guess it had to be there so as not to interfere with the GPS antenna at the top of the unit.
funny though trimble hand-held gps units had the same design challenge as well. Unless of course, you're using the ProXH gps plug-in and or bluetooth antenna connection.
if you put your body between your device and the equatorial Southern line of sight for the gps byrds(satellites), your gps signal reception will more than likely be reduced because of the multi-pathing and direct object interference.
