Help Data Cable?

Greetings,

I had a quick question I was hoping someone could answer. I just picked up a used Xoom on eBay and while it has the AC Wall Charger with it, there is no data cable included. I have yet to receive the unit, so I can't verify this without someone's help.

Can you use any microUSB data cable for transferring files and whatnot from a computer to the Xoom? I am assuming this wouldn't be an issue, since a microUSB is the same for all devices that have them. I was going to use the cable that came with my Samsung GSII. Otherwise, I'll pick one up, but I was hoping to find out prior to receiving the unit so that I can order it now and have it when the Xoom arrives.

Also, one more quick question: I purchased the MZ600 (Verizon) version. How can I tell if the 4G LTE upgrade has been completed?

Thanks in advance.

The SGS2 cable will work fine. Although there are cables of variable quality (some of the very cheap cables on eBay are flaky), there are really only two types of cable that plug into a micro B usb socket and it's easy to tell the difference as wrong one (the OTG cable) has a socket rather than a plug on the other end.

I have one of the Samsung cables (I have a SGS2) and it works fine.
