Hi all,

I have a galaxy s advance with data and an acer icionia a500 tablet without data. Im leaving this evening and heard it is possible to send this data connection to my tablet. Where im going is no internet, so it would be nice to send this internet to my tablet and dont always have to browse on my galaxy. How can I do this?

Any help is welcome, thnx

On your phone, go to menu>settings>wireless and network>tether>mobile hotspot. This will turn your device into a wifi hotspot to which your tablet can connect. Note that this will drain your batterq quickly.

Ok thanks! Then ill plug my phone in while its sending out the signal.

I tried It and it works great. I bought a book here about android and tethering was also explained, they also say that some tether apps can trick the provider so it cant see you are using data. Sounds to good to be true, or is this really possible?
