Help Data connection issues? PLEASE READ

So I have been dealing with this for two years now. I cannot get a steady signal...always losing data, flipping between 3g and 4g constantly even tho im in a full 4g area for miles and miles.

verizon still claims there is no issue.

im at the end of my line...they offered to cancel my lines with no fees and if i want to be reimbursed for the devices and some of the service charges i have to goto court.

in last ditch effort to have this fixed ive been in contact with a verizon supervisor who seems to want to help but just doesnt know how.

This supervisor, Mark, feels that its not going anywhere because these are isolated incidents. there are no other complaints in my area for data issues. but i know there are a lot of us out there experiencing this!

so, the only way to gather enough data for the engineers is to know all the customers affected is to gather their numbers and look into the data and how they are connecting.

If you are having this issue and you have exhausted all other options and your tired of speaking with dimwit CSR's then please contact Mark, leave him your number and a quick message stating your having data issues as well.

He can take all of our numbers and submit them to the engineers to have this problem looked at as a whole instead of random individuals calling from around the country. You can call and leave a message or just text him.

Private message me for contact info.

If your sick of data connection issues this is going to be the only way to fix it! Complaining about it on here and other forums will get you NOWHERE!

I have a hard time grasping that Mark told you that you can post his number in a forum with thousands of users and he should expect calls. I wouldn't be surprised if that number changes soon....

Having said that, if you've tried different phones, different areas, different times, etc., then eventually you have to look at the common denominator(s). Are you using the same SIM? Are you using the same apps? Etc... Verizon's liability comes down to the network. If YOU are the only person having the problem, then there has to be something that you are doing- an app, a setting, an expectation that just can't be met by the network or the device(s). It's still likely there is a network issue, but highly unlikely over that long a period.

The only possible resolution for Verizon is to a) recreate your network profile (basically delete and readd your switch profile to clear any provisioning errors), b) create a network trouble ticket to determine if there's a network issue, c) replace your device under the manufacturer's warranty as possibly defective, d) acknowledge there's a problem that can't be fixed, and let you out of your contract, or e) accept that you're just going to have a problem but aren't willing to go elsewhere.

Obviously you're not going to find someone who says "Yeah you have a problem, but you already know what the answer is. Have a nice day." If A, B, C, and D, have been addressed, then I would say YOU have a decision to make.

Very direct way to put it, I admit, but it seems that's what needs to be done.

seVer has some good points. We need some more information before we can start giving advice. Things like:

1: Have you tried a replacement SIM card?
2: Does this issue also occur on a factory reset device or new device where there are no added programs and all settings are the default settings?
3: Does this only occur in one spot, or does it occur no matter where you go?
4: Has VZW tried recreating your network profile?
5: Has this issue occurred with just one device, or have you seen it with multiple different devices (i.e. only on a HTC Rezound or on say an HTC Rezound, Motorola RAZR, Samsung Galaxy Nexus)?

allow me to expand further.... if it's been happening for nearly 2 years, then :

1) it's highly unlikely to be a device issue
2) it's highly unlikely to be a SIM issue

4g/lte does also have an "extended network". what city/state are you in?

and as Inkdesigned asked before me- does this happen even on a "naked" phone? and do you notice this in one specific location/area, or any- and everywhere that you go?

im not here to trouble shoot this issue with you folks. its been trouble shot to death. ive been in contact with MANY people that have the same exact issue all over the country. hell you can search the threads here and see i am not the "common denominator". its a real issue. just because your not having it doesnt mean its any less real for those experiencing it.

if you have the same issues as me please read my first my post and message me if you have any questions.

this is just my attempt to help people having the same issue so we can work for a common goal together instead of individually. strength in numbers....you know?

1. multiple
2. yes
3.happens in any 4g network area
4. i have no idea what that means
5. bionic and razr..multiple different OTA and leaks..currently have a bionic on leaked ICS with same issue and a razr on leaked .215 ics and still same issue.

when the bionic was on .901 or 902 whatever it was...it worked great. after 905 it went to sh*t and has stayed there. if i can find a copy of the old software ill see if i can make it work correctly again and if so ill make a video of the bionic next to the razr and you can see for yourself.

Having said that, if you've tried different phones, different areas, different times, etc., then eventually you have to look at the common denominator(s).

thats why Mark needs the people phone numbers that are experiencing the issue. That way he can give the numbers to the network engineers and they can find that common denominator by examining the connection data from the devices and network on those lines affected.
