Help Data folder?

Nintendo1889

I have an lg motion and I am considering upgrading it through MetroPCS' instant upgrade and rebate. I'd rather get a moto g but this one will be free for me to trade in.

Will I be able to use Titanium Backup to restore my apps and their data? On the motion, some apps save their data in the fake SD card directory, /mnt/sdcard, and these may not work. I've attached a screenshot of Google Chrome's data folder on the motion. It uses /data/data/com.android.chrome/app_chrome/Default. If someone else could post their chrome data folded location I would appreciate it.

There is a rooting app by geohot that works for the l70

Bad news KitKat restricts exSD to read only no write.

Good news there's an app that restores read/write to exSD on the Play store

So Yes titanium backup works great.

Bad news storage memory is roughly 1,1 GB for personal apps

Good news there's an app to SD on play store that helps

There are post with directions to every thing I speak of
here on android forums

Root has been achieved, but bootloader is locked. No custom recovery just yet.

I like the phone, but I'm used to the old Optimus V.

Thanks for the replies everybody.

Does it get sluggish with a lot of apps, or because of SD card restrictions and limited space, no one has been able to install a lot of apps?

I changed the download location to the stock browser to the external SD.

I changed the location of the App Manager lll folder to the external sd in it's settings, then moved folder to external sd. Then moved all apps that could be moved to the external sd using it's GUI.

I backed up all apps using Titanium Backup and moved to external sd after copying folder. Then I deleted folder on internal sd

I backed up all apps using Root Uninstaller and moved to external sd after copying folder. Left folder on internal for new app backups ( I then move the apk to the folder on the external sd first chance I get)

I'm rooted and totally linked the rest to the ext partition on the external sd as well as linking the dalvik cache of those moved to the external sd using App Manager lll.

All this has given me 76 user installed apps, with 681MB unused on the internal storage, and 350-250MB of free RAM depending on when I've cleaned the cache.
No lag with this setup.

Great, thanks. Overall, is this phone good or can it be made good, in your opinion?

I'd say the phone is alright. I had the motion, I think the motion was a better phone, but that now an even meh Android phone like the L70 is a bit of an improvement. Possibly there is something better coming in August, maybe you want to wait. maybe not.

What is the instant upgrade program that you referred to in the Original Post?. That sounds to be a regional offering.

Here's the upgrade:

I am liking the l70 because of the battery life and larger screen compared to the motions 3.5 inch and atrocious battery life. Can you leave sync on all day on the l70 and it last the whole day without a recharge?

How is the voice quality on the l70? Any complaints of people who can't hear you? I've gotten some complaints from people not being able to hear me clearly on the motion and could never figure out if it's the network or the phone.

I like the voice quality on the moto g, that really stood out as being an actual advance forward of the main function of a cell phone. im just on the fence about it. Ill probable get the upgrade and if i want the moto g i can always sell the l70.
