Data gone On SD card

Hello!! need a little help here!!

I am using a phone carrying android marshmallow.

Its a Symphony i50.

couple of days earlier I just rebooted my phone n saw that everything of my sd card is gone. They are not deleted actually. The files are still consuming space in the sd card bt no folders are there or neither in the gallery. There were some docs and photos which are very important to me.

Marshmallow formates a sd card as its internal storage so that, I can't even use it in my pc. My isn't even detecting the card. it's a Team Pro 16gb micro sd card.

how can I fix this? plzz help

Adaptable storage is a nightmare if you have a SD card fail as the contents are encrypted, so unreadable in a pc.

There is a little hope in the below article, however the method is not for the faint of heart. You will also need a pc with Linux installed and know your way around the Linux file system and commands.

You need to read the entire article and the comments section so you fully understand the process and risks. As a side note this method will not work if you have reset your phone.

Best of luck. :paperbagdroid:
