Hello folks,
DW was using Sony Ericsson W550i uptill now. She is happy with her Motorola Droid Razr (XT910). The glitch is, she can not import her contacts and messages from W550i. When I connect both the phones using Bluetooth, Razr wants W550i to behave as a remote control (!!!). I did not find any utility installed on Droid Razr by Motorola that will enable me to transfer the data using Bluetooth. If I missed anything, please let me know.
On the top of that, I am unable to find a desktop SE application that will support W550i, hence I am using My Phone Explorer. This is a great tiny program. Here the twist is, it exports all the data in *.dat files. I have recovered the contacts using google account but messages are still stuck. Anyone knows how can I import those SMSs? There are some very important SMSs which she can not afford to delete for a while due to legal issues.
Finally, does anyone know any program that will back up Android phones in open source format files for future. I hear about Titanium Backup on this board but I wonder if that is the right application. I do not want to go though this hell again in future.
Many thanks in advance.
Note to mods - I am not too sure if this is the right place for this question, but did not find any more suitable section. Pls feel free to move the post.
