data is on but not working

Hey, my data is enabled, yet when I attempt any sort of internet connection when I'm out of Wi-Fi range, I get the error message that my data is not enabled. How do I fix this, please?!? This is on a Galaxy Centura through SmartTalk.
 
The first thing I'd check is you Access Point Names (APN) settings, part of the mobile data settings. You should be able to get the correct values from your provider's website, else a web search will quickly find them. If these are wrong your mobile data will not work.

Otherwise I'd advise speaking to your carrier, as it could be a problem with your SIM or you account settings.
