Help Data issue fix?

Hello. I just got an elite yesterday. I already rooted, flashed a custom recovery, and have my msl. I only have 1 question.... for right now, is there a way to fix the data issue? I would flash a rom but I can only download with my phone. And with the data issue it will fail to download.
 
Right now the best ways to "fix" this is to either go into the Hidden Menu and change the network from CDMA Auto to CDMA Only or EVDO, or to dial ##VIRGIN# and go to View, write down the two strings of numbers, then Edit, and replace all numbers with ten 1s for both sets, then Done to reboot. Then dial ##VIRGIN# again, and change the numbers back to their original state. This should reset your data.

As for downloading ROMs on 3G, you can, but don't do it on the stock browser or it will fail. Doing it on Dolphin or Chrome should work fine. Just make sure to verify the MD5sum first.

Ill do that tomorrow. I'm tired from the fitness room. And I know about the stock browser. I had to use a diff browser on Optimus V when it was stock. So I would assume its the same with this phone. :)
Update: Seems to be better after the data reset and adding:

ro.ril.gprsclass=10
ro.ril.hep=1
ro.ril.enable.dtm=1
ro.ril.hsdpa.category=10
ro.ril.enable.a53=1
ro.ril.enable.3g.prefix=1
ro.ril.htcmaskw1.bitmask=4294967295
ro.ril.htcmaskw1=14449
ro.ril.hsupa.category=5
To the build.prop
Got to download GSnapElite and Harmonia no problem and at a pretty good speed to.

Interestingly enough, those are already a part of the build.prop (for Sleipnir, anyway). Glad things seem to be working better for you though!
