Data on call

Does anybody know if you can access data while in a call with US cellular? I tried today while in a call to go to facebook but it just sat there and spun the refresh icon within facebook like it didn't have data. I have a Samsung Acclaim if it matters.

Unfortunately, you can only have data working when on a call if your connected to a Wi-Fi source.
