I've been having the same problem. Walked into the local VZW store and asked them about the network and they all had data. I called VZW and they put me on with 2 Level Tech support (or whatever they call themselves.) He ran me through everything he could think of to fix it (which consisted of everything I had already tried), and had me wipe the phone. I had data back for about a couple minutes then nothing. He stated that there was something put out about this on his system, and that it only effect GNex. He put in a problem ticket with Network Support and they are supposed to contact me within the next 3 days. He suggested as that anyone having this problem also get a ticket submitted so Network Support can figure out the issue.
