I don't know if this is a realistic request but when I see an App that I would like to try it's hard to know if it requires a data connection. I have a "Go Phone" and don't have one. I would like to see ICONs placed in the threads indicating if an APP requires a DATA link or if it works by way of WIFI and so on.

If you don't have 3G data access, any apps which need internet access to work should still work just fine via WiFi. Apps in the Market though always have an indication if they need internet access permissions or not.
Thank you for your response - There is a link listed on this forum for live tv called "Catchup TV". Does this App require a data link or can it be viewed via wifi.
Any app which required a 'data link' will work just fine via WiFi. Especially something which is data intensive like a streaming video app, probably better to use this via WiFi.
