Data recovery after hard reset.

Buggg

What are some good data recovery softwares out there paid or free both if you need to recover data just after a hard reset ? Since the newer versions of android have encrypted data which most of the softwares don't seem to confirm about recovering.

Not worried about Google or other accounts data since I got that covered. But all the files and documents in the file manager or internal storage are not all synced so data recovery tool is only chance .

If the filesystem is encrypted then basically forget it. Maybe if you are GCHQ or the NSA and the data are sufficiently important to merit devoting the resources needed to crack it you could recover something, but with just the phone or a PC and generic data recovery software you've no chance.

If something is important you should always have at least one backup, and it should not be on the device itself (e.g. a backup on an SD card is worthless if you lose the phone with the card in it).

Encrypted internal storage was device dependent up until 2015 or so. When Marshmallow (ver. 6.x) was released encryption was enabled by default so if your phone is running anything with 6.x or later, the internal storage is most likely protected by encryption.
File recovery utilities work better when the storage media a) isn't encrypted and b) the device has been previously rooted (that 'and' indicates it is both are required, not a one or the other) so depending on your situation you'll probably be better off trying to look forward than dwell on the past. Set up a viable, working backup solution so you don't risk losing your data again.
