Help data reset

My son box has done a complete reset on my M8 box and I have lost the capability to download/watch anything on it. I,m a complete technophobe and need an idiots guide on how to get it working again. someone please help lol. any guidance is greatly appreciated
 
You might need to contact the vendor or manufacturer, see about getting it reloaded with the channels package. If it was using Kodi, you can reload that yourself from Play.
