Root Data ++ Roms?

Is this A new Idea, and would it be a viable addition to future roms?

i read it, do most phones not have such a large cache partition? The idea is to have extra space on the phone and by moving dalvik to cache dont we gain about as much as leaving dalvik on data and the apks the the sdcard? And i wasnt really sure as to the benifit to freeing up space on the system partition, i mean ive put other apks there that i dont ever see the need to update to save a little space but still dont see the benefit to that extra space. The whole thing was a little beyond me. I toowould like to know a little more.

I think its saying faster than having certain systems moved to the sdcard while still being able to free up space. But unless youre using apps2ext or dalvik2sd i dont think there will be a speed difference.
