Yesterday evening I updated to Android 2.2 Froyo. I use 3G Watchdog to monitor my data usage. Since then it reports a lot more data. Normally I use between 2 and 10 MB data daily, on average 5 MB. The last 24 hours I've used 112MB, about as much as for all december up till yesterday.
Is this 3G Watchdog having a problem? Or is it Android? Before the update I didn't see the H/3G icon in the top bar continuously. Now it's there all the time. I see the update icon (for mail etc) popping up every 10 seconds and it's gone before you know it.
The problem is that my provider doesn't let me see actual data usage, just for the past month. So I can't check now to see what's actually happening.
