I would hope I'm posting this in the correct place, but I've looked up multiple times for a specific answer and I haven't found a solid answer to it.
I have the Huawei Impulse 4G, not very 4G when it comes down to your data plan though, I'm not impressed with this phone either. I'm an AT&T user and I'm very paranoid about my data usage. I use Onavo to track my data but I'm still unsure if I'll get unplanned charges. I'm connected to my WiFi at my home, in the status bar I have the H+ with a check mark, which I suppose means I'm connected to my WiFi because I have the WiFi bar indicator up too. At times my internet shuts off randomly (Comcast..) and I'm afraid of using data while I'm unaware of it. In the Mobile Network Settings, I have Data Enabled, Data Roaming, and Enable Always-On Mobile ALL checked off, I'm unsure of what Enable Always-On Mobile is which is why I'm hesitant to check it off or on. I do use my data when I'm out, but I manage it reasonably, but I feel as if I'm at home - I shouldn't have to use any data. I also have the Background Data / Auto Sync options off. If anybody could please tell me if I'm correctly managing it so no background data is being used while I'm unaware, that would be lovely. If I'm incorrectly doing it, please tell me!
