Data usage spiked? (Droid)

Hi everyone.
I've had my Droid for about 4 months now. I haven't checked my data usage too much, since I have unlimited, but the few times I checked it was around 50-70MB per month.

For the heck of it, I just checked. I'm at 370MB already for June. I rooted two days ago and downloaded a few ROMs and other required files over the air.

Is this normal for my usage to go so high all the sudden?
I know I have unlimited data, but is there ANY way Verizon can nail me for additional charges? I've read too many horror stories about huge wireless bills and other articles about "unlimited" doesn't always mean unlimited in some cases.

Thank you! Please put my mind to rest...

Verizon has a true unlimited plan. There isn't a cap where they start charging you more (yet).

And if you were downloading ROMS over the air, then that would explain the usage spike. If I remember correctly the 2.1 v3 leak was 100MB+ by itself. Download a few of those and your data usage should be in the range you are seeing.

the unlimited plan taps out at 4 GB. Not sure verizon enforces this. A lot of speculation, but no one has reported overage charges for data. search this forum for it.

There's no 4 GB limit on my plan, even in the fine print. Can you show me where you see a 4 GB limit?

Verizon's plan is truly unlimited, but im sure if you suck down 10gb of data a month they will do something to you. Dont worry about your data, you will be safe.
