Data usage warning

I'm not rooted, running stock Android 4.2.2 on the Galaxy S4.
I didn't know you could move the bar in the data settings. I moved it up to 100 GB. If I use that much in a month T Mobile might ask me to switch carriers! :)

Well, if it's any consolation - I'm at 42.3GB for the month right now with no issue from T-Mo. :)

How long you been doing this?

I am about to go buck naked too and just download movies from my home ftp server to my phone just because I can.

if i had a decent 4G connection at my location that at least allowed me to stream uninterrupted video i would probably use around 20 GB a month max. i understand it does not make sense at all but here it is.
i was using around 10 GB a month with boost 3G for 35$ a month. video was buffered but not that bad at lower resolution. i mistakenly thought that t-mobile's strong 3G will obviously be better at my location (as seen from various other users speedtest results that their 3g is around better than 2mbps). so i jumped ship got a 400$ phone with metro for 60$ a month. well during normal hours sprints 3G and metro's strong 3G gives me the same speed. i get around 1.5 mbps only from 11 pm to 4 am :(
so i changed my habit and instead of streaming i download them and watch later. well so i usually pick the 720P resolution if available ending up three times bigger filesize.
before i used to watch live and half of the time stop for not liking the show ending up with less data uses. now sadly as i watch later it gets downloaded anyway.
