Data usage

Hello all,
Not too sure if this is the right place to ask this question but I'm hoping that someone can answer for me. I just got the Tab S and want to share my data with it while out and about, I am just wondering of the tablet uses more data than my G4. I mean if I were looking at the same thing on each device would the data usage be the same for both? And what is the difference between tethering and wifi hotspot which is the better route to go.

When you speak of data usage are you referring to Wi-Fi data and not Mobile data?

Tethering is when you connect to the internet on your Tab through the S4. You will then be using YOUR data allowance on the S4. Using a Wi-Fi hotspot would mean that you are not consuming YOUR data allowance.
