Database app maybe??

Hi all
I'm a newbie to Android so please forgive the ignorance. I hope you can help with an app I need and can't seem to find. I am a Scout leader and want to have the Scouts information on my Sony Ray, encrypted of course, with details like telephone number, email, medical conciderations etc. The problem is I want to be able to click on the telephone number and have it dial out (possibly the same for emails). Is this possible?

Any suggestions?

I emailed HanDBase but their reply was "At present HanDBase for Android doesn't support dialing of a phone number. This is something that we are planning as a future enhancement.".
I've tried a few others with similar results: mSecure, memento etc.
Any other ideas?
