OK....I'm feeling pretty NOOBish here. Was reading over the root guides and I can't figure out what this DATATOOL BACKUP is. I'm running CL14 and was going flash Joey/SDX kernel, but it says to do the Datatool Backup first...help please?
if you already have cl14, then you don't have to worry about a backup... unless by some small chance the ROM doesn't install correctly, then you may have to reflash cl14, which in turns wipes out the phone... I've flashed my phone 4 different times now, and never did a datatool backup... IIRC, its something that can be done through adb shell...
