Good day. When my device is completely drained and not used for a while, it resets the date and time to manufacturing date and time. Why does this happen?
Most carriers constantly update the date and time on their devices. When a device is completely drained it cannot receive these carrier updates and reverts to a much earlier date. So no poer = wrong date and time. Pocket PCs used to have a backup/auxiliary battery that would keep you up to date regardless well until that one drained anyway.
