Help Daydream doesnt work

Anyone know why I cant get daydream to work ? I plug in my charger and ... nothing. analog clock doesnt seem to work.

I just tired it for the first time. It goes into Daydream when on the Turbo Charger or Wireless charger. (Analog clock Night Mode is very dim.)

Settings | Display | Daydream ... enable it and choose the one you want.

When the display times out ... if On I will run the app you selected. You have to let it time out. If you turn the display off it will not trigger.

Is when to display set to Either? Perhaps id doesn't daydream if it is connected and not charging unless you specify it?

Thom - I havent tried it with the turbo Charger or the wireless yet. I used a usb to my laptop to charge it during work. Why would that matter ?

Is it On in your settings?

I just tried it with a USB to my Windows 7 workstation. It works without a problem.

Your problem ... cable? ... use a different port ony your laptop? Jiggling it? Passing the proximity sensor?

well i am sure the USB cable is fine because it charges, and I can see my data. it is on in the settings. What do you mean passing prox sensor ?

That might be it. Try plugging in to a wall charger to see if it works.

Great.

So ... it seems that your phone was totally charged and that's why it wasn't coming on.

The analog clock is the only one that attracts me at all.

I have to say ... the controls on that feature are a little sophomoric.
