DCIM Folder not showing when connected through USB

Hello!!
I have a HTC Wildfire phone.. And when I try to connect it to my new laptop through USB I am unable to view the photos and DCIM folder itself is not there...
Please help me to copy the pictures in my mobile to laptop...

Do you have an SD card? If so, is it possible that you are browsing the wrong drive? (i.e...SD instead of external storage, or vise versa)
