Thumbnails that have nothing to do with my camera keep showing up in the /mnt/sdcard/DCIM/.thumbnails folder. I keep deleting all the thumbnails and the folder keeps filling up with thumbnails of images stored elsewhere on the phone's internal sd card, NOT thumbnails of images taken with the phone`s camera.
I have the default location for the phone's camera pics to go to the external sd card /mnt/sdcard/external_sd/DCIM/, which also has a .thumbnails folder.
Shouldn't the DCIM folder, and any subfolders be exclusive to the camera, on both the sd and the external_sd cards? I thought that was the whole point of DCIM folders, to be for cameras.
I'm tempted to just delete the /mnt/sdcard/DCIM/.thumbnails folder completely since I send the camera pics elsewhere? Any ideas from anyone would be most appreciated.
