Help Dead Phone Died Dying

So my phone was dying and i plugged it to the charger (oem) and as soon as it connected the phone shut off. Like the battery was removed. Phone will not charge, new battery didnt work, wont power on. HELP//!)

Had this happen with my Samsung Infuse, I left the battery out for 10 minutes and when i put it back in it turned back on. Not the same device but never hurts to try!
