Dead phone

[Android Question]

IS there anyway to retrieve pictures and videos from a dead galaxy 2.. it was under warranty , so i have a new one...BUT>.most of my precious videos were on the old one. did not have google or drop box set up to save.

If it's totally dead, the cost of retrieving anything from it means that unless what you're retrieving the combination to the vault at Fort Knox, it probably doesn't pay. If it's just hard bricked, you should be able to bring it to enough life to retrieve things from it. Especially a Samsung S phone. Try a Samsung Jig (you can buy them on eBay for a couple of dollars, or make one yourself if you can solder to a microUSB plug). Then go to Youtube and look for Samsung Jig or Hard brick.
