Dead pixel??????

So I just received my new android phone yesterday, and I pull it out of the box charge it up and turn it on and I notice a small blue mark on the LCD in the bottom left when on a dark screen such as black, I was wondering if it is a dead pixel or there is something that can be done for it to disappear I have already rang Vodafone UK and they said they can do a courier swap for the faulty item because it was purchased online, so I was wondering what it actually was

If the pixel is always black, its a dead pixel. If its always some other color, its a stuck pixel. Since you just got it, you are within your 30 day return policy, so take it back to the carrier and they should give you a brand new one.

Yer I have rung Vodafone UK they bringing a new one to me on Monday and swapping it with my current one I have told them though its a dead pixel because thats what I thought it was, that shouldn't matter though seeing as either way it is still faulty and to do with a pixel?
