Dead Pixels... Advice!

So a couple days ago I noticed at least 2 dead pixels on my screen. I'd like to see if I can replace it but the phone has some major scratches 2 corners (no screen damage) from when I dropped it back in December. I don't think the pixels are related but is Verizon going to see it this way?

there is only 1 way to find out, take it to them and see, if they say no, you will need to do a insurance replacement, and that runs at $99 (from what i remember)

That's assuming you have insurance through Verizon.

Edit: to the OP, it's basically impossible for your problem to be caused by dropping the phone. Legally they can't a warranty claim for unrelated damage (although that won't necessarily stop them from trying), and they generally don't make a fuss about cosmetic damage. Good luck.

You have a year warranty, call customer service and tell them what happened. They'll just send you a refurbished one.. same thing happened to me!
