Help dead zones

i thought virgin mobile had access to every ones towers. guys i work with using Verizon towers have excellent reception. i have no bars or anything when at work. i have to find certain parts of plant to get reception. what gives? is there a way for my rise to tap into same towers to get good reception?

Virgin is owned by sprint, and uses sprint towers

Most prepaid networks dont allow for roaming.

Also, Sprint's 3G signal has poor building penetration compared to some other providers'. I can go in to Super Target and lose signal, even though the building itself is in a great reception area.

This loss of signal in buildings then corresponds to TREMENDOUS heat buildup in the Rise, and massive battery loss. I've seen this more on the Rise than any other Virgin phone.

Given you have wifi use this instead of your 3g connection forementioned is stand alone equating regardless of bars reception is always strong

Also whenever anywhere else besides work go to the market download something called hidden menus.Upon install go to testing phone info and make sure it says CDMA auto(prl) and nothing else otherwise you will have little to no reception 3g wise
