Root Dear God, please somebody help me root

I've rooted 6 droids and 2 nexuses so this shouldn't be so ****ing hard. Revolutionary root is the only thing people talk about these days. I've looked at 4 different forums. I've read xda but I can't post there!!!!!

Revolution doesn't ****ing work for me!!!!!!!!!!!! I try typing in their bullshit password with zeros or are they capital oh's or are what are they??! I try it all and nothing works. Seriously what the hell? If I see one more person say a rooting method takes five minutes I'll break their damn legs.

I did the s-off and I'm on an older version. Now how do I root the damn thing?!

Anyone else have a link to a rooting guide? Seriously I've been on this for 7 hours now (had some pc issues to contend with as well but that's all good now). My girlfriend finally asked me to root her phone and I am seconds from smashing it on the ground and giving her $100 for the insurance claim. Oh that would be soooo satisfying right now.

first of all take a few deep breaths and calm down. im sorry your having trouble,well figure it out.

im not sure what youre talking about with the 0 or O password. in running revolutionary,you need to enter a specific beta key generated for your phone based on its serial number,so if that not what youre doing,thats why its not working.

if you are allready s-off,then you do not need revolutionary,as that is all it does: install an s-off hboot. revolutionary does not directly leave you with root access.

all you need to do at this point is install a custom recovery,then install the superuser root files/app in that recovery.

last and not least,what is your hboot info? if its revolutionary at the top,then youre good to go.

if you have the older 1.04.2000 eng s-off(i dont know if you got s-off from revolutionary or if you got the phone this way) then you may want to consider flashing shadowmites permanent s-off hboot.
