Death of the man who made Americans lazy with a short attention span

(CNN) -- The inventor of the TV remote, Eugene Polley, died on Sunday at 96. (link)

R.I.P. Eugene.

My Ex-Wife hates you.

You're my hero.

I thought you were talking about McDonald's or something by the title of your thread. I didn't know that not walking up to the TV makes you fat. If anything, the remote made me have a short attention span. If I don't see anything interesting on the current channel after a few seconds, I change the channel.

I guess I should have said the man who made America Attention Deficit.

But what a great invention.

When i read the title, i was thinking of something to do with McDonalds too. I think the remote just makes people lazy, not fat.

A remote, a couch, a beer, and the Simpsons and youve got the laziest person there is. At least in the 90s thats how my step dad was =)

Oh...I thought it was about this guy dying...

...I'm sure he made America fat as well.

Now he's trying to make China fat...

I thought mcDonalds too.

Oddly other countries have remote controls but it only made America fat. Hmmm ;)
