Root dec 7th android system update?

Just came through on my phone if I let it install will it screw up my rooted phone?

Yup. Never install OTA's from a rooted phone. Devs will update their roms/kernels with firmware/software updates accordingly.

Edit: Probably won't mess up your phone, the update just won't install

Please let me know what happens. I used the Auto root your existing stock ROM (w/o ODIN/ROM Flash) method and it worked great.

I have not flashed anything and have the original rom. Will this update work okay since the rom is stock/original?

How did this go for you?

I did the one click root, so I am wondering if I need to unroot, then update the firmware, and root again.

This is the first time I have had a rooted phone when an update comes through, thanks for the help.

I lost my root after updating, so I re rooted.

Everything is back to normal again......no problems.
