Root Declined CC purchase via Google Wallet NFC

Ok so here is the deal, I loaded up my credit card on my Google wallet at and tried to use it at CVS, Wallgreens , and 7-11 they all declined my purchase via NFC but when I swiped the card it went through. Let me add that I am rooted but have not changed the ROM. I do get the "Unsupported device" message up top but from what I have read it doesn't really matter. What am I doing wrong here? Am I supposed to activate something, what am I missing?

Hey Jon,

If I was in your spot, I would reset the app from within the settings and try again.

Alternatively, you may want to confirm that everything you entered is correct. Trust me, I have entered in my info incorrectly.

Nice. One of my favorite things about this platform is Wallet.

I've had at least five iPhone users how they get that app on their phone. I say, "get a Nexus." Funny looks tend to ensue.

Disclaimer: there are other phones which use Google Wallet besides the Nexus line but it is easier to put it that way.

i used it at CVS and had no problems...


make sure you hold it there until the bars fill up...it's like "boop boop boop beep!"

(shakes head at his attempt at recreating a noise on a message board)

and then it finishes....it took me 3 tries to make sure it worked...
