Hello. Last time I factory reset my phone I encrypted both the phone and the external SD card. Ever since I did one big question has been in my mind: How do I remove the encryption without the phone? Eventually something is going to happen to it... upgrade to a new phone, run it over with a truck, etc. Serious--I've broken the digitizer (and later replaced it) twice while working on a vehicle.
I'll just be real here: Eventually this phone will either get upgraded, broken, or lost, and unless it's the latter, I need to be able to move the files on the SD card over to its replacement and actually use them.
Connection by USB isn't an option if I've run over the phone with my truck. With the phone's password in hand, how do I decrypt or otherwise make the files on the SD card usable again?
