Help Default app that opens upon phone unlock

Is there an app that allows me to choose some another app (such as facebook messenger app) that will open as soon as I unlock my phone?

So that I don't need to go thru to find and click the app icon to open the app?

Tasker could probably do it.

Alternatively, look at widget locker. It's a lock screen replacement app which will allow you to add app shortcuts and widgets to your lock screen.
