Help default browser crashes

The default browser crashes after 30 seconds Evey time. Always has. Chrome works but pages still default to the included browser. It is not listed under apps to install.
How do I remove or make chrome the default browser.

Root it, then remove browser.apk & odex from system/apps. Reboot & continue what u need to do..

Install Default App Manager and make Chrome the default. Or open Internet [which is probably the name of the default browser] in Application manager, clear the default, press a URL, choose Chrome and press Always. Either way does exactly the same things, DAM just makes it a little easier.
