Default browser is gone with 2.2!

Ok, I just got the OTA for 2.2, and something exceedingly weird has happened. I had the Dolphin browser installed, but never really used it because I do not like it. I have been using the default Andriod browser, which suits me just fine. Now, as soon as I went to 2.2, the default browser is nowhere to be found, and Dolphin seems to have replaced it. I cannot find the default browser anywhere.

If I hit the web shortcut (I'm using Launcher Pro), it goes to Dolphin, if I try to open a page from an app ... it goes to Dolphin. If I search in the search bar ... it goes to Dolphin.

Has anyone seen this issue? I want my default vanilla browser back!

UPDATE: I uninstalled Dolphin, and now I cannot get on the web at all. My browser really did disappear.

Is there anywhere to re-download the stock browser? I can't find it in the market.

HELP!

Ok, so it's not just me. Bah ... I'm using Dolphin for now, and hoping that when the next OTA comes, the browser will return. There's no way I'm doing a factory reset.

Doing a factory reset is really no big deal. Take out your sd card, make sure you know your gmail login, and wipe your phone. If you're really concerned about your contacts you can also export to your sd card. This should get your browser back.

I use xScope as my default browser. After manually updating I still have both browsers and can use either one. Flash doesn't seem to work with xScope. Hopefully xScope will update to fix that since I like it better than the android browser. I also like it better than Dolphin by the way, I even paid for Dolphin but switched to xScope.

I read somewhere that the default browser is actually a modified version of the Dolphin browser anyway. So maybe this explains it!
