Default calendar used when creating event

I have several calendars (for other family members) linked in my calendar. The problem I'm having is that the default calendar when creating a new event is the calendar that was used when creating the last event. For me, this frequently results in events being added to the wrong calendar. Is there any way to force the default to be my own calendar?

I'm currently using a stock Droid Bionic, but had the same problem on my OG Droid using multiple ROMs.
