Help Default gallery question - Albums

I have the Galaxy s3 and was wondering if there was anyway to reorganize my pictures to specific albums... ex: putting pictures of my new baby in an album labeled with his name.
If not, is there an app that will allow me to make my own albums?
I have been searching about this for a while.

Hi amandagconaway and welcome to AF. Yest there is a way to organize your pics into folders. You will want to grab a file manager from the play store for this project. I use ASTRO file manager but there are many good free file managers to choose from. Once you have a file manager, just peruse to the storage area or sd card.. wherever your pics reside. Once you find the area you can create sub folders and name them whatever you would like the album to be named. Now move the files you want into the individual folders that you have created. Now open your gallery and you will find the folders you created with the organized pics in each.

Another gallery question...How do you unsync or get rid of the albums put on there by google plus? i don't even use the dumb site but for a few times two years ago. It decided to make it's own album for every picture.
