I have an Galaxy S6 Active and ever since the 6.0.1 update a couple weeks ago, I have been having major issues with my default messages app.
First, the app is mixing up the message history of certain people with completely different people. For example, I have a group message with family, a separate message with my sister, and another with a friend. When I go to send my sister a message (going into her contact and clicking send message), the "To" at the top is the group with multiple names and the group message history, though when I send the message, it only sends it to her. This happens on several groups/individuals.
Secondly, when I get sent SMS messages, sometimes they don't come through (come up as a grey box with a "!" mark in the middle). Again, this has never happened pre-6.0 update.
Is anyone else having these issues, or is there a fix for this.
Relevent story: There is a running joke about me about something that happened this past family vacation, and my family brought it up in a group message, so I was going to send them a picture of "the bird" but when I went to reply, the "To" at the top was to my grandma... that is the type of risk I would rather not have while sending messages haha
