Help Default notifications

[Note 5 question]

Notifications on my Note 5 wouldn't stop going off. I didn't know which apps were causing this so I changed the tones to all of my apps. I have discovered that it's my "default notifications' that keep going off. How do I turn these off?

Default notification is a tone, not an app. It just means that you haven't found the app that produces it yet.

If you can spot a pattern to when it happens that would help, but it can be tricky if it's something obscure (I once had a battery monitor making a notification sound when the cpu temperature exceeded some threshold, which took a while to work out).

I assume you are just hearing a sound? If there is an actual notification in the notifications drawer then a long press on that will let you see what app is producing it.
