Default Storage

[Android Question]

My device wasn't allowing me to download apps due to low system storage. I set default to ST card but I am still unable to download apps due to low memory (card has plenth of storage space). I set default by accessing menu icon in Web browser/advanced/default storage.
Any ideas?
