Default storage

Hello,

How do i change the default storage location (internal storage or external sd card) for images/videos/audio recording/capture, downloads and app installation in android? Is it the adb command only for apps? I need an easier way than command shell anyway.

Hi

For music, pics, voice recordings etc. you generally change the storage location in the settings of the app that creates the file ie camera or voice recorder etc. There is no "master" setting. Downloads and apps always go to internal storage. Whether you can then move the apps to external SD card depends on your android version, whether you are rooted on other versions etc etc. Downloads can of course be moved with a file manager app.
