defects or normal?

I just got my Epic Touch last week. I was looking at it a bit more carefully today after I put on my TPU case from Diztronic(great case btw). I noticed 2 things that I'm not sure should be like that. Has anyone else noticed this?

1 - the camera lens cover has some play. Very minimal, but you can move it around some, would this let dust in?

2 - with the screen off, if I look at the phone from a certain angle I could see a line that goes across about 1 inch, then straight down about 1 inch, and then continues across to the end of the screen. I haven't noticed it while the phone is on.

I haven't noticed either of these, I definitely wouldn't say that is normal.

I haven't noticed either of these on my device or any customers device's. I would definitely say take it into a store and have it checked out.

Mine has a line that goes across the bottom 1/5th of the screen, i can see it when the screen is off or when the background is blue. Doesnt bother me enough to do anything about it though. Dont want to risk getting a battery sucker or fire burner. Everything else is awesome.
